NASA spots approaching mega rock

An asteroid has been detected by NASA hurtling towards the Earth at a speed 26,843 miles per hour, and this 450 metre wide chuck of primordial rock is due for its hazardous close approach to our home planet on November 3.

The rocky leviathan is most likely a composite of iron, other metals and elements and it has been labelled a potentially hazardous object because of its city levelling size and close intersection with Earth’s orbit.
